Named a team captain of the Bentley men's tennis team for the 2021-22 season

2021: Served as a team co-captain ... Began the season with a 6-4, 6-1 win in No. 3 singles to help Bentley to a 5-2 victory over Saint Anselm (March 25) … was a 5-7, 6-4, 11-9 winner in No. 3 singles against Assumption (April 7) … won both of her matches in Bentley’s 4-0 NE10 playoffs victory over Saint Anselm, 6-1, 6-1 in No. 2 singles and 6-4 in No. 1 doubles with Makena Romagnano (April 25).

2019-20: Won three straight No. 1 singles matches in the fall season, against New Haven (6-2, 6-4; Sept. 17), UMass-Dartmouth (6-0, 6-1; Sept. 19) and Saint Michael’s (6-3, 7-5; Sept. 21) … earned wins in both No. 1 singles (6-0, 6-1) and doubles (6-4) to help Bentley defeat Shippensburg (March 8).

2018-19: Posted team best records in both singles at 6-1 and doubles at 6-1 after joining the team in the spring ... in singles, had a four match winning streak to close out the season ... streak included three straight wins at No. 2, against Nichols, Endicott and Curry ... also had a win in No. 3 against Division I Holy Cross ... in doubles, won the final four matches of the season, all at No. 2 ... named the NE10 Rookie of the Week twice, on April 9 and April 23.

Personal: Graduated from Escuela Internacional Sampedrana in San Pedro Sula, Honduras in 2018 ...  majoring in finance, with a minor in management ... parents' names are Roberto Matuty and Tricia Diaz ... has three siblings, Roberto, Tricia and Valentina.
