McClure & Misic Receive CSC Academic All-District Recognition

Sophomore guard Cash McClure (Readfield, Maine/Maranacook HS) and senior forward Ivan Misic (Toronto, Ont./Cape Fear Academy), both of whom started every game for the Bentley University Falcons, have been named to the 2023-24 Division II Academic All-District men’s basketball team by the College Sports Communicators.
Laput Receives All-America Honors from both NABC and D2CCA

The honors continue for Bentley University senior guard Zach Laput (Beacon Falls, Conn./Notre Dame HS) as the Northeast-10 Conference Men’s Basketball Player of the Year was selected for the 2024 National Association of Basketball Coaches (NABC) Division II All-America team. He’s just the third Falcon to twice receive NABC All-America honors, following Brian Hammel ’75 and Jason Westrol ’10.

Bentley University senior guards Zach Laput (Beacon Falls, Conn./Notre Dame HS) and Aaron Latham (Glastonbury, Conn./Glastonbury HS) combined for 48 points, but it wasn’t enough as the Falcons fell to Southern Connecticut State, 88-78, in the quarterfinals of the Northeast-10 Conference Men’s Basketball Championships Sunday afternoon on the Dana Center’s Barbara Stevens Court.
