Richmond, Hudson & Lawrence Combine for 78 as No. 14 Bentley Stays Undefeated With the triumvirate of senior Ryan Richmond (Toronto, Ont./Thomson Collegiate), junior forward Chris Hudson (Hodgdon, Maine/Northampton Williston School) and sophomore guard Colton Lawrence (Myerstown, Pa./ELCO HS) combining for 78 points, the undefeated Bentley University Falcons overcame a nine-point second-half deficit for an 89-83 victory over Southern New Hampshire Wednesday night at the Stan Spirou Field House. Bentley Takes 7-0 Record and No. 14 Ranking into Wednesday’s Game at SNHU Through seven games, all five starters for the Bentley University men’s basketball team are scoring in double figures while shooting at least .500 overall and .400 from three. The Falcons are outshooting the opponents 53-40 percent and are averaging 7.7 more assists. With numbers like those, it’s not surprising that the Falcons sport a 7-0 record, including 4-0 Northeast-10, and a number 14 ranking in this week’s NABC Division II national coaches poll. They’ll put the unblemished records on the line Wednesday night when they travel to Manchester, N.H. to take on Southern New Hampshire University at 7:30 pm. Full Story
December 1, 2018 Hudson Double-Double Helps Power No. 24 Bentley to 87-65 Win over St. Michael’s Junior forward Chris Hudson (Hodgdon, Maine/Northampton Williston School) put up a 20-point, 10-rebound double-double and sophomore guard Colton Lawrence (Myerstown, Pa./ECHO HS) followed with 17 as undefeated Bentley University led from the opening basket en route to an 87-65 win over St. Michael’s College Saturday afternoon at the Dana Center.

November 25, 2018 Richmond Scores 28 as Undefeated Bentley Goes Wire-to-Wire for 86-70 Win over Jefferson Senior guard Ryan Richmond (Toronto, Ont./Thomson Collegiate) scored 12 of his season-high 28 points during a game-opening 21-6 run and his undefeated Bentley University Falcons went on to post a wire-to-wire 86-70 victory over Jefferson University in non-conference men’s basketball Sunday afternoon at the Dana Center.
November 24, 2018 4-0 Bentley Hosts 4-1 Jefferson in Early Season Inter-Conference Showdown The Bentley University Falcons and the Jefferson University Rams have been two of the top teams in NCAA Division II East Region men’s basketball during the opening couple weeks of the season. Bentley won its first four, including two against Northeast-10 Conference opponents, and Jefferson is an overtime loss to Saint Anselm College away from a 5-0 start. Sunday at noon, the two clubs will square off at Bentley’s Dana Center with a free webcast available at www.NE10NOW.tv.
