407 Bentley University student-athletes, a conference high, qualified for the spring 2022 Northeast-10 Academic Honor Roll by achieving a grade point average of 3.0 or better during the semester.

Bentley University handed out its Outstanding Senior Athlete awards on Friday with men’s basketball guard Jordan Mello-Klein (Sharon/Thayer Academy) and women’s track standout Chase Davies (Marblehead/Marblehead HS) the recipients. In addition, the Edward J. Powers Scholar-Athlete Award was presented to football’s Andrew Brazicki (Franklin Park, N.J./St. Thomas Aquinas HS).

The Bentley University Falcons played strong defense Tuesday in the opening round of the 2022 NCAA Division II Men’s Basketball Elite Eight at the Ford Center. Northwest Missouri State, the two-time defending national champions played even better D and as a result, it’s the Bearcats who moved on to the national semifinals against Black Hills State, which stunned undefeated and top-ranked Nova Southeastern in the second quarterfinal.
