Bentley Seeded 4th in Elite Eight, Will Face Northwest Missouri State in Opener

WALTHAM, Mass. – After capturing the East Regional championship, the Bentley University men's basketball team was seeded fourth in the NCAA Division II Elite Eight and will take on fifth-seeded and two-time defending national champion Northwest Missouri State Tuesday afternoon (1 pm ET) in the quarterfinals at the Ford Center in Evansville, Ind.

Bentley will head to its first Elite Eight since 2010 with a 25-4 record and a seven-game winning streak.

Northwest Missouri State, champions of the Central Region, is 31-5 overall with an eight-game winning streak. The Bearcats are in the Elite Eight for the sixth time.

The other quarterfinal games have top-seeded Nova Southeastern (Fla.) paired with number eight Black Hills State, number two Indiana (Pa.) facing seventh-seeded Hillsdale (Mich.) and third-seeded Augusta (Ga.) taking on number six Chico State (Calif.) in the nightcap.

All four national quarterfinals will be streamed on NCAA.com. Thursday's semifinals will be shown on the CBS Sports Network and the championship game will be on CBS on Saturday, March 26.
