Balsis Produces Strong Performances in High Jump and Hurdles at GBTC Invitational

CAMBRIDGE, Mass. – Freshman Sam Balsis finished third in the high jump and fourth in the 60 m hurdles at the Greater Boston Track Club Invitational on Sunday.

Balsis' top jump of 1.80m was good for third place in the high jump and was just .5 meters off the top jump.

Balsis was then fourth in the 60 meter hurdles with a time of 8.91 seconds.

Senior Finn Power came in eighth in the one mile run with a time of 4:30.70.

Junior Andrew Goehrig finished sixth in the 300m with a time of 38.17. Senior Evan Bean produced a top-10 finish in the 400m with a time of 53.88.

The Falcons will next compete at the River Hawk Invite on Saturday at the New Balance track in Boston.
