Men's track & field wins three events, totals 14 top-10 finishes at Beacon Invitational

BOSTON – Quinn Riesenberg won two events, and the Bentley men's track & field team totaled 14 top-10 finishes during the Beacon Invitational hosted by UMass Boston at the TRACK at new balance Sunday.

Results

Riesenberg won the long jump, clearing 6.26-m. His best distance was 0.05-m ahead of the next competitor. Riesenberg also won the triple jump with a distance of 12.33-m.

Hayden MacArthur won the 800-m by crossing the finish line in 2:01.58, besting 15 other runners.

Evan Bean took third place in the 400-m spring with a time of 52.11. He was also seventh out of 46 runners in the 200-m dash, crossing the finish line in 23.15 seconds.

Matthew Chicko was fourth in the mile, timing in at 4:30.915. Matthew Sebastyn (4:32.052) and Michael Hemme (4:32.115) were the next two runners to cross the finish line.

The 4x400 relay team finished second with a time of 3:38.554. MacArthur, Finn Power, Trevor Waldstein, and Sebastyn were on that Falcon team.

The Falcons next compete in the Greater Boston Track Club Championships, Jan. 21.
