WALTHAM, Mass. – Bentley University sophomore Jazzy Burke (Lake George, N.Y./Lake George Central HS) has been named the Northeast-10 Conference Libero of the Week following her outstanding performance in the Falcons' 3-1 win over the University of New Haven Friday night.

Burke established a career-best with 31 digs, an average of 7.75, as the Falcons improved to 18-5 overall, 15-2 against East Region teams, 7-1 conference and 12-0 at home. She also had five assists, two aces and a .963 reception percentage.

Burke is fourth in the conference in digs with 314 so far this season, and is also ninth in aces (33).

This is the second career Libero of the Week award for Burke, who was also honored October 4, 2021.

Also recognized, with selection to the Weekly Honor Roll, was senior Ingrid Murphy (Cotuit/Barnstable HS). Murphy led the Falcons with 14 kills, 21 digs, one ace, a block and 15.5 points. Her hitting percentage was .220 with five of her kills coming on first-ball attacks. The double-double was her seventh of the season.

Bentley begins a string of three straight road contests Tuesday at Assumption University.
