\WALTHAM, Mass. – Bentley University freshman Dani Milner (Plano, Texas/The Greenhill School) has been named the Volleyball Rookie of the Week in the Northeast-10 Conference after another solid weekend for the Falcons.

Competing in the Merrimack Invitational, Milner averaged 3.21 kills, 2.14 digs and 3.71 points for the Falcons while hitting .168. She put down a career-high 13 kills against East Stroudsburg and bettered that with 17, with a .241 hitting percentage, against American International.

The only Falcon who has played in every set this season, Milner has averaged 2.80 kills and the same number of digs while totaling 144.5 points, sixth best in the NE-10 thus far. She's one of only six players in the conference averaging at least 2.8 in both kills and digs, and is 13th overall in kills.

Bentley, off to a 2-10 start while facing a very difficult schedule, has road matches at Post University and St. Michael's College this week.
