Five Set to Join Bentley Volleyball Team in the Fall

Bentley University women's volleyball coach Sandy Hoffman has announced her recruiting class of 2012. Three of the five new Falcons are from west of the Mississippi and the other two are from New York.

Junior Keidy Candelaria (Vega Baja, P.R.), the conference leader in kills, put down a match-high 15 and hit .464 as the University of New Haven took care of Bentley University, 3-0, Friday night in Northeast-10 Conference women’s volleyball at the Dana Center. The scores were 25-19, 25-21 and 25-18.

Freshman Savannah Dominguez (Miami, Fla./Palmer Trinity HS) hit at a .600 success rate with 12 kills and classmate Kelsey Buckner (San Marino, Calif./San Marino HS) posted her 11th double-double of the season as Bentley University topped Southern New Hampshire University, 3-1, in Northeast-10 Conference women’s volleyball Tuesday night at the Dana Center.
