Bentley swept the doubles matches, and followed it up with five wins in singles play to claim the 8-1 victory over the Mustangs, who compete in the Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference.
Freshman Katie Tynan (West Barnstable, Mass./Barnstable) helped power Bentley to the victory with wins in both No. 1 doubles and No. 4 singles. In doubles, she teamed with Rachel Petrini (Madison, Conn./Daniel Hand) for an 8-3 victory over Gabby Tellijohn and Paige Janka.

In singles, junior Rachel Hui's (Hong Kong/St. Rose of Lima's) 6-0, 6-0 sweep of Janka in the No. 3 match highlighted Bentley's efforts. Tynan earned her second win of the day by dropping just one game in a 6-1, 6-0 victory in the No. 4 match, while Hannah Fabianski (Pawcatuck, Conn./Stonington) rolled to a 6-1, 6-1 win in the No. 2 match.
