WALTHAM, Mass. – Bentley University swept Assumption 9-0 Tuesday in Northeast-10 women's tennis to improve its record to 2-0 both overall and in the conference. The victory was also the 100^th of head coach Alex Wong's career on the women's side.

Bentley swept through the doubles matches, with seniors Rachael Litton (Burlington, Ontario/Nelson) and Paulina Sotomayor (San Antonio, Texas/Ronald Reagan) winning the top-flight match over Meghan Hall and Erica Micciche 8-2.

In singles, freshman Ludmila Yamus (Deer Park, N.Y./Half Hollow Hills East) defeated Micciche in the top-flight 6-0, 6-2. Litton got the better of Marie Black in the second-flight 6-3, 6-3.

Wong, now in his 10^th season in charge of the women's team, is seven wins away from the century mark with the men's team.

Bentley returns to the courts on Thursday at Le Moyne.
