WORCESTER, Mass. – Led by three double winners, the Bentley women's tennis team took a 7-2 victory at Assumption on Wednesday in Northeast-10 play.

Junior Rachael Litton (Burlington, Ontario/Nelson), senior Brittany Harbert (Boxford, Mass./Masconomet) and sophomore Alyssa Hayes (Berlin, Conn./Berlin)  were the double winners for the Falcons, who improve to 5-2 in the NE-10 with the victory.

Litton teamed with junior Paulina Sotomayor (San Antonio, Texas/Ronald Reagan) to win in No. 1 doubles over Chrissy Lyon and Marissa Charles 8-6. Harbert and Hayes bested Allison Gorman and Erica Micciche in No. 3 doubles 8-0.

In singles, Litton beat Paige Gilet in No. 3 singles 6-2, 6-1. Harbert defeated Abby Blaisdell in No. 4 singles 6-1, 6-2 and Hayes topped Marissa Charles in No. 6 singles 6-1, 6-3.

Bentley returns to the courts on Friday at home against Adelphi.
