Almog completes unbeaten dual season
WALTHAM, Mass. – Bentley women's diver Hilla Almog completed an undefeated dual season as she helped lead the women's swimming and diving team to a 189-99 victory over Bridgewater State in the home finale Thursday night.
Almog's score in the 1-meter dive was 290.25, good for first place. She also took first in the 3-meter dive with a score of 267.90.
Nine different Falcons won individual events Thursday.
Skyla Lang won the 500-freestyle by touching the wall in 5:22.42, and she was second in the 100-butterfly by timing in at 1:01.02. Jordan Nuzback won the latter event with a time of 1:00.39. She was also first in the 50-freestyle with a time of 25.90 seconds.
Katie Keegan was the victor in the 1,000-freestyle her 11:38.87 mark was more than 11 seconds ahead of the next swimmer.
Isabella Montanari won the 200-freestyle by touching the wall in 2:01.93, and Cleo Zhou took first in the 50-backstroke with a time of 30.63 seconds.
Grace Motisi was first in the 50-breaststroke when she posted a time of 33.50 seconds, and Emma Hapkiewicz cruised in the 100-freestyle with a time of 56.63 seconds.
Taylor White won the 100-backstroke by timing in at 1:04.41, and Emily Blatt was first in the 100-breaststroke by touching the wall in 1:11.29.
The 200-medley relay team came up with a winning time of 1:56.08 thanks to the efforts of Ava Young, Motisi, Nuzback, and Montanari.
Bentley's next meet is the Northeast-10 Championship, Feb. 15-18, in Worcester, Mass.
