Bentley Captures 12 of 13 Events for 9th Straight Win, 159-78 over Babson

BABSON PARK, Mass. – Led by junior Kate Kaduboski (Dedham/Dedham HS) and senior Emily Niemiec (Meriden, Conn./Francis T. Maloney HS), the Bentley University Falcons captured 12 of 13 events and cruised to a 128-83 win over Babson College in women's college swimming Tuesday evening at the Babson Pool.

It was the Falcons' ninth straight victory following a season-opening loss to Wheaton College.

Kaduboski and Niemiec helped Bentley take both relays with the Falcons taking the 400 medley relay in 4:09.72 and the 400 free relay in 3:46.37. Sophomore Paige MacNeil (Branford, Conn./Branford HS) was also part of both, the 400 medley also included senior Anne Warren (Ellicott City, Md./Mt. Hebron HS) and sophomore Lea Guldemond (West Newbury/Central Catholic HS) completed the quartet in the 400 free.

  Kaduboski (101:10 in the 100 butterfly) and Niemiec (2:02.38 in the 200 free) were two of eight Falcons who won individual swimming events. The others included juniors Hannah Rauch (Orchard Park, N.Y./Orchard Park HS) in the 1000 free (11:04.17), Melissa Viator (Lubbock, Texas/Lubbock HS) in the 200 individual medley (2:14.12) and Brooke Jameson (Bedford/Bedford HS) in the 100 free (56.11).

Also winning swimming events were sophomores Emily Weiner (Mansfield/Mansfield HS) in the 100 backstroke (1:05.94) and Ari Revelas (Snyder, N.Y./Nardin Academy) in the 100 backstroke (1:13.50), and freshman Julia Ball (Phoenix, Md./Roland Park County School) in the 500 free (5:28.07).

Sophomore Caroline Logozzo (Wethersfield, Conn./Wethersfield HS) completed the list of Bentley winners as she swept the diving with scores of 227.77 (one-meter) and 225.67 (three-meters).
