Jones and Hendriksen Voted to NE10 All-Conference Second Team; D’Amico to All-Rookie Team

WALTHAM, Mass. – Senior Brooke Jones (Duxbury, Mass./Duxbury) and sophomore Jill Hendriksen (Pembroke, Mass./Pembroke) were voted to the Northeast-10 All-Conference second team and freshman Scarlett D'Amico (Williamsville, N.Y./Williamsville) was voted to the All-Rookie team.

Jones was Bentley's leading scorer in the regular season with 13 points. She tied for the team lead with four goals, along with Sydney O'Connor and Liliana Silva, and led the team with five assists. She started all 17 regular season matches and was fourth on the team in minutes played with 1,353.

She was named the NE10 Player of the Week on Oct. 17 after she helped the Falcons to a 3-0 week, with wins over nationally ranked Mercy and NE10 victories over Pace and Le Moyne.

Jones was a third team All-Conference selection in 2021.

Hendriksen was one of the standout center backs in the NE10. She started all 17 regular season matches and led the team in minutes played with 1,505. She rarely left the field and played all 90 minutes in all but three matches.

She was voted third team All-Conference and to the All-Rookie team in 2021.

D'Amico played in 15 matches and notched one goal and one assist in her freshman season. She scored the game-winning goal in Bentley's 1-0 victory at Le Moyne on Oct. 15 and she had an assist in the team's 3-0 win over New Haven on Sept. 17.

The Falcons finished the regular season in a tie for 5th in the standings with Saint Anselm, before they fell to Adelphi in the quarterfinals on the NE10 playoffs on Sunday. They were ranked 9th in the most recent NCAA East Region rankings.
