Bentley Earns NCAA Championship Bid, Will Visit Pace on Thursday

WALTHAM, Mass. – Bentley earned a bid to the NCAA Division II Women's Lacrosse Championship and they will take on Pace in the first round on Thursday.

The Falcons were selected as the fourth seed in the East Region and will play the region's top seed Pace.

This is the program's second ever NCAA Championship appearance. The first was in 2021 and came on the heels of their first NE10 championship.

The Falcons have an overall record of 11-7 and are ranked 18th nationally by the IWLCA. They went 8-3 in the NE10 regular season and defeated Assumption in the quarterfinals of the NE10 Championship 16-12 on May 4.

This will be the third matchup in less than three weeks between the Falcons and Setters. The most recent was in the semifinals of the NE10 Championship on May 8, which Pace won on its way to winning the conference title.

The winner will advance to the quarterfinals on May 18 and will play the winner of the other first round game in the East Region between #2 Adelphi and #3 New Haven.
