WALTHAM, Mass. – Winners of six straight games, the #18 ranked Falcons host New Haven on Saturday at 1:00 PM for Senior Day.

Prior to the game, six student-athletes will be honored on Senior Day. Lindsay Dawson, Stephanie McAuliffe, Maeve Johnson, Caroline Affolter, Courtney Dermody and Emma Jadul.

A Look at the Standings

Entering Saturday's game the Falcons are in third place in the NE10 standings at 6-1. That has them one game behind first place Pace at 7-0 and a half-game behind second place Adelphi at 7-1.

The top-four teams host a quarterfinal game in the NE10 Championship on May 4.

Johnson Racks Up the Points

Maeve Johnson was named both the NE10 Player of the Week and the IWLCA Offensive Player of the Week. She totaled 16 points, 10 goals and six assists, in wins over Southern N.H. and #22 Saint Anselm.

Johnson is third in the NE10 in points with 63 and tied for fourth in goals with 43.

Rochel Rookie of the Week

Goalie Lauren Rochel was named the NE10 Rookie of the Week on Monday. She posted a combined 50 percent save percentage in the wins over SNHU and Saint Anselm. Against the Hawks she made nine saves with a 60 percent save percentage.

On the season, she leads the NE10 with a 57.8 save percentage and is second in goals against average at 8.03.

Affolter 5^th in Draw Controls

Caroline Affolter ranks fifth in the NE10 in draw controls at 60.

Series History

The Falcons and Chargers tend to play close games. The last five games have all been decided by four goals or less, with the games in 2018 and 2019 both decided by one goal.

New Haven won last season's game in Connecticut 15-11. Bentley won the last game in Waltham, 15-13 in 2022.

The all-time series is 10-9 in favor of the Chargers.
