#18 Bentley Wins 6th Straight, 15-6 Over #22 Saint Anselm

MANCHESTER, N.H. - #18 ranked Bentley won its sixth straight game on Saturday night with a 15-6 triumph at #22 Saint Anselm.

It's the third time in four games the Falcons have held their opponents to single-digit goals and the sixth time in eight games.

Freshman goalie Lauren Rochel made nine saves and had a 60 percent save percentage.

Courtney Dermody scored five goals and Maeve Johnson had four goals and two assists to lead the attack.

The Falcons jumped out to an early 2-0 lead on goals by Dermody and Amanda Davis in the first three-plus minutes and never trailed. After a Saint Anselm goal at the 7:45 mark, Bentley closed the quarter on a 4-0 run to lead 6-1 after 15 minutes.

Bentley closed the second quarter and began the third quarter strong. Goals by Dermody and Johnson in the final six minutes of the second gave the Falcons an 8-3 lead at halftime.

Stephanie McAuliffe and Caroline Affolter opened the third quarter with goals in the first two-plus minutes as the lead ballooned to 10-3.

The closest Saint Anselm got the rest of the game was 12-6 at the 10:52 of the 4th quarter but that was the last Hawks goal of the night.

Caitlin Keenan and Dermody scored twice in the final 5:05 to close out the 15-6 victory.
