PLEASANTVILLE, N.Y. – No. 2 ranked Pace remained unbeaten in the Northeast-10 with a 21-7 victory over No. 14 ranked Bentley on Saturday afternoon.
The Setters improved to 10-1 overall and 7-0 in the NE10. The Falcons dropped to records of 7-4 overall and 5-2 NE10.
Pace's attack was led by a pair of graduate students in Kayla Conway and Emma Rafferty who each had five goals.
For the Falcons, junior Caroline Affolter (Newburyport, Mass./Newburyport) led the way with two goals and Maeve Johnson (Duxbury, Mass./Duxbury) notched one goal and one assist.
Freshman Natalia Dutkewych (Harvard, Mass./Bromfield) pulled down a team high four draw controls. Senior Katherine Hesslink (Shelburne, Vt./Canterbury) was among those with a caused turnover on the defensive side. Lily Spaulding (Newburyport, Mass./Newburyport), Kat Slattery (Chelmsford, Mass./Chelmsford), Courtney Dermody (Bedford, N.H./Bedford) and Emma Jadul (Reading, Mass./Reading) also had caused turnovers.
The Falcons will be back in action on Wednesday night when they host Saint Michael's at 7:00 PM.
