WALTHAM, Mass. – Five student-athletes from the Bentley University women's lacrosse team were named to the IWLCA Academic Honor Roll for the 2021-22 season. As a team, the Falcons earned the Academic Honor Squad award.
The five student athletes named to the Academic Honor Roll were graduate students Sandrine Heller (Weggis, Switzerland) and Cara McCarthy (Salem, N.H./Central Catholic), seniors Christine Fish (Slingerlands, N.Y./Guilderland) and Kayli Keenan (Pelham, N.H./Bishop Guertin) and junior Samantha Lee (Branford, Conn./Sacred Heart Academy).
The criteria for the Academic Honor Roll are the student-athlete must be a junior, senior, or graduate student and have earned a cumulative academic GPA of 3.50 or greater.
McCarthy, Fish and Keenan are all repeat honorees from last season.
McCarthy was also named to the NE10 Academic All-Conference team back in June as she pursued her MBA. Heller pursued her MBA in accountancy.
Fish and Keenan both earned their degrees in economics-finance and Lee is majoring in marketing.
To earn Academic Honor Squad status, the team must have posted a 3.2 or higher team GPA for the academic year.
