WALTHAM, Mass. – Since 1980, the Bentley University women's basketball program has amassed 33 20-win seasons, with 29 of those coming during Hall of Fame coach Barbara Stevens' first 32 seasons at the helm.

Stevens and Bentley will be looking to add to that total Wednesday night when the 19-2 Falcons square off against Stonehill College at the Dana Center as part of the NCAA Division II Showcase. The 110th meeting between the two programs is scheduled for a 5:35 pm tip-off.

The game will be webcast on the NE10 NOW Digital Network, the NCAA Division II, Northeast-10, Bentley and Stonehill Facebook pages and the NCAA Division II Twitter page. NBC Sports Boston will show it on a tape-delay basis at 8 pm and Cox Sports Television will do the same across the country on Saturday at 11 pm.

Bentley, riding a six-game winning streak and ranked 15th in this week's WBCA Division II national coaches poll, owns a 13-1 conference record and leads the Northeast-10 by three games heading into the second round of divisional play.

Stonehill possesses a 15-5 record with nine wins in ten contests away from its campus. The Skyhawks, 10-4 NE10, have won three straight, including a 76-58 win over Adelphi on Saturday.

Bentley doesn't have a single player who ranks among the NE10's top 20 scorers but with the return of senior forward Megan Lewis (Sevenoaks, England), has five players who are averaging at least ten game.

Sophomore guard Katie Meriggioli (Waunakee, Wis./Edgewood HS) tops the list at 12.2 a game, along with 6.6 rebounds, two assists and 1.1 steals. Senior center Victoria Lux (Arundel, Maine/ Thornton Academy), the number six rebounder in school history, has been quiet lately (5.5 ppg in last four games) but still averages 11 points and 6.8 rebounds.

Junior forward Monica Viapiano (Holden/Holy Name HS) is up to 10.7 points per game after matching her career-high of 21, on 10 of 14 shooting, in Saturday's win over Pace. As a starter in the last six games, she has averaged 13 points with a .554 field goal percentage.

Senior guard Amy McConnell (South Windsor, Conn./South Windsor HS) also averages 10.7 points and Lewis is at 10.3 after scoring seven points in ten minutes against Pace, her first game action since the second week of December.

Stonehill features multi-time NE10 Rookie of the Week Kayla Raymond, a freshman forward. She averages 15.6 points and 5.3 rebounds while shooting 50 percent overall. She scored a career-best 23 on 10-of-14 shooting last week against Pace before sitting out Saturday's Adelphi game.

Junior guard Grace Carter provides 10.7 points a game with 53 of her 67 baskets coming via the three-ball. Junior forward Gabrielle Reuter has connected at a 55 percent clip while scoring just under ten a game.

While both teams give up just over 58 points a game, Bentley scores about six points a game more. The Falcons average 74 points and shoots 44 percent overall and .398 from three. Stonehill's numbers, on the other hand, are 67.8 overall, .426 overall and .340 threes.

In the first meeting this season, Bentley traveled to Easton and returned on the positive end of a 70-54 score. The Falcons won every quarter while limiting the Skyhawks to 31 percent shooting and only two three-pointers in 18 attempts. Lux led the visitors with a 19-point, 11-rebound double-double and Raymond scored 12 for the Skyhawks.

That victory gave Bentley a 71-38 advantage in the all-time series and eight wins in the last nine meetings. The two teams split the two regular season games last year and Falcons flew past the Skyhawks in the Northeast-10 Championship game, 73-72 in overtime.

After facing Stonehill, Bentley will turn its attention to Saturday's game at Assumption College.
