WALTHAM — Jen Gemma accomplished both of her objectives in leading Bentley to a 81-49 victory over Saint Anselm last night in the Northeast 10 semifinals at Dana Athletic Center.

The senior power forward from Milton scored 15 points and added 12 rebounds to advance the Falcons to Sunday's title game at Adelphi. Bentley has won 19 league titles and five of the last six, and Gemma is determined to hang another blue banner.

In the process of dispensing with Saint Anselm in routine fashion, Gemma became the Falcons all-time leading scorer with 2,015 points. Bentley junior guard Lauren Green scored 11 to cross the 1,000-point barrier.

"It was great to get it at home and for Lauren Green, too," Gemma said. "I mean, the win was the most important thing and we had to pull that out first and the record, well, it was just good to do it at home. Being able to leave something like this behind is cool, and I'm hoping to leave a little more in the coming weeks."
