Bio

Kayla Johnson, a 2011 graduate of Franklin Pierce University, is in her third year on the Bentley University softball coaching staff. She served as pitching coach for the 2012 season and has been the top assistant for head coach Michele DeGregorio since.

Johnson's coaching resume also includes serving as head coach and marketing manager with the New England Diamond Gems. She coached the 16U AAU team in 2011, was an assistant coach for the 18U AAU team in 2012 and head coach of the 14U Silver Softball team in 2013.

Johnson played four years of softball at Franklin Pierce, where she ranks in the top four in program history in most pitching categories. The Hudson, N.H. native was a co-captain as a senior and a graphics communication major.
