Gauthier Selected to All-Northeast-10 3rd Team
WALTHAM, Mass. – Bentley University senior center fielder Jackie Gauthier (Braintree/ Braintree HS) was selected to the Northeast-10 All-Conference softball third team by the conference coaches.
Gauthier batted a career-best.284 while leading the Falcons in slugging percentage (.451) and OPS (.790). Her 16 runs scored was tied for the most on the squad and she was also second in RBI with the same number. Eleven of her 29 hits were for extra bases, including six doubles and four triples.
One of the team's tri-captains, Gauthier was at her best with runners in scoring position as she hit .423 in those situations, 11 for 23. The four-year starter finished her career with seven home runs, tying for the most in program history, and 101 hits, reaching the century mark in her final home game.
Bentley finished at 20-18 and made its first appearance in the Northeast-10 Championships in 27 years.
