Capobianco Finishes 6th at NE10 Championships; Bentley 4th as a Team
WESTFIELD, Mass. – Sam Capobianco finished sixth at the Northeast-10 Championships and Bentley placed fourth as a team on Sunday at Stanley Park in Westfield.
Capobianco finished the 8K course in 25:31.80 He improved by 28 spots from last season's NE10s and earned first team All-Conference honors.
The Falcons' fourth place finish is their best since 2016 when they were third.
Senior Cole Duval was Bentley's next finisher. He crossed the line in 26:40.60 to place 23rd.
Matt Chicko wasn't far behind with a time of 26:54.40 to finish 29th.
Freshman Matthew Sebastyn was 36th (27:08.20) and sophomore Max Lampe was 49th (27:23.00).
Bentley's next scheduled meet is the NCAA Division II East Regional on November 4.
