BOSTON, Mass. – Junior Brice Tolan (Abington/Abington HS) was the top performer for the Bentley University men's indoor track and field team during the New England Championships at the Reggie Lewis Center Friday afternoon.

Tolan established a new personal best in the 800 (1:58.63) while finishing 11^th in a 22-man field. It was first among Division II competitors and elevated him for ninth on the Northeast-10 Conference performance list.

Freshman Alex Lawes (Brick, N.J./Brick Township HS) was 12^th of 18 runners in the 500 with his 1:08.53 third best among Division II participants.

On Saturday, Bentley will be at Boston University for the Bruce Lehane Scarlet and White Invitational.
