WALTHAM, Mass. – The Bentley men's and women's tennis teams begin the 2023 season when they host Southern New Hampshire Saturday, Sept. 9, starting at 12 p.m. The Falcon women were initially scheduled to begin their season at American International Friday, but that match was postponed due to weather.

Head coach Alex Wong is excited about the competition within each Bentley team. Although No. 1 slots have not been locked in, he anticipates senior Max Bonte will compete on the No. 1 court for the Bentley men to begin the season. However, Wong notes that another senior, Gabe Horwitz, is right on Bonte's heels.

Sophomore Nicolai Pran and freshman Christian Duffy are expected to be regular starters for the Falcon men.

On the women's side, Wong is excited about first-year Falcon Catalina Borrero from Colombia. She and junior Maria Mella are expected to compete for the No. 1 singles court throughout the season. Seniors Remi LeSage and Adriana Hiraldo are also expected to in the starting lineup more often than not.

Following Saturday's season-opener the Falcon women travel to Post (Sept. 14), and then return to Waltham to host Assumption for the first Northeast-10 match of the year (Sept. 16). The Falcon men also host Assumption that same day.
