WALTHAM, Mass. – Bentley's Nikolai Pran (Oslo, Norway) was named the Northeast-10 Men's Tennis Rookie of the Week on Tuesday.

Pran won in both singles and doubles to help the Falcons to a key 4-3 victory over Franklin Pierce last week.

He first teamed with Gabe Horwitz for a 6-0 victory in the No. 2 doubles match.

Pran was then one of four Falcons to win in singles to help the team secure the victory. He defeated Alejandro Ortiz in the No. 4 match by a 7-5, 6-4 score.

This is the second time this season Pran has been named the NE10 Rookie of the Week. The first time was on Oct. 18.

After today's match against Saint Michael's, Bentley will close out the NE10 regular season on Saturday at Southern New Hampshire.
