Bentley Sweeps Endicott 9-0 to Finish Fall Undefeated

BEVERLY, Mass. – Bentley University swept Endicott 9-0 on Friday afternoon to finish its fall season undefeated at 5-0 in dual matches.

Graduate students Connor Aulson (Groveland, Mass./Pentucket) and Daniel Weitz (Roslyn, N.Y./Roslyn) were among those to win in both singles and doubles.

They teamed for an 8-0 win in No. 1 doubles, while they also won the top two singles matches. Weitz defeated Janith Madhok in No. 1, 6-3, 6-0. Aulson earned a 6-0, 6-1 victory in No. 2.

Junior Jordan Soifer (Stamford, Conn./Westhill) and sophomore Max Bonte (Bradenton, Fla./St. Stephens) also won two matches on the day. They teamed for an 8-5 win in No. 2 doubles. Bonte dropped just one game in a 6-0, 6-1 triumph in No. 3 singles, and Soifer defeated George Danes 6-2, 7-5 in No. 4.

Freshmen Reilly O'Brien (Andover, Mass./Andover) and Andrew Broom (Scarsdale, N.Y./Scarsdale) also won in singles. O'Brien defeated Hudson De Risi 6-2, 6-2 in No. 5 and Broom got the better of Collin Dinardo 7-6, 7-6 in No. 6.

Broom also teamed with Gabe Horowitz (Lake Oswego, Ore./Lake Oswego) for an 8-6 win in No. 3 doubles.
