Bentley Tennis Teams Earn ITA All-Academic Team Award; Nine Players Named a Scholar-Athlete

Waltham, Mass. – Both the Bentley men's and women's tennis teams earned an All-Academic Team award from the Intercollegiate Tennis Association for the 2019-20 academic year. Nine student-athletes from both teams were named a Scholar-Athlete.

The All-Academic Team award is given to any team that had a cumulative GPA of 3.20 for the academic year. To be named a Scholar-Athlete, a player must have a GPA of at least 3.50 for the current academic year.

The six student-athletes from the women's team to be honored were:

Grace Bennett (Paxton, Mass.): Freshman, finance major. No. 3 singles position.

Zoe Chin (Lexington, Mass.): Freshman, accounting major. No. 2 singles position.

Miruna Constantin (Ploiesti, Romania): Freshman, undeclared. Named the NE10 Rookie of the Week March 10.

Alyssa Cook (New Castle, N.H.): Sophomore, marketing major. No. 4 singles position.

Cindy Luo (Stamford, Conn.): Sophomore, marketing major. No. 2 doubles position.

Makena Romagnano (New Albany, Ohio): Freshman, undeclared. Named the NE10 Player and Rookie of the Week for March 18, 2020.

The three student-athletes from the men's team honored were:

Kendall Au (Essex Fells, N.J.): Senior, corporate finance and accounting major. Team captain and three-time ITA Scholar-Athlete recipient.

Connor Aulson (Groveland, Mass.): Junior, accounting, media arts and society major. Bentley's No. 2 singles position. Two-time NE10 All-Conference selection.

Jordan Soifer (Stamford, Conn.): Freshman, undeclared. No. 3 singles position in first season and No. 2/3 in doubles.
