Aulson and Rattaseri Win Twice to Lead Bentley Past Eastern Nazarene 7-2

Quincy, Mass. – Junior Connor Aulson (Groveland, Mass./Pentucket) and freshman Tawan Rattaseri (Bangkok, Thailand) each won two matches to lead the Bentley men's tennis team past Eastern Nazarene 7-2 on Monday.

Aulson teamed up with classmate Daniel Weitz (Roslyn, N.Y./Roslyn) for a win in No. 1 doubles, and Rattaseri combined with freshman Pedro Diavan (Cuiaba, Brazil) for a win in No. 3 doubles. Aulson and Weitz won their match 8-4, and Rattaseri and Diavan 8-7.

In singles, Aulson was a straight sets winner in No. 2, by a 6-2, 6-2 score. Rattaseri took the No. 6 match, 6-0, 6-3.

Bentley's other winners in singles were freshman Jordan Soifer (Stamford, Conn./Stamford) in No. 3 (6-1, 6-0), senior Kendall Au (Essex Fells, N.J./West Essex) in No. 4 (7-5, 6-0) and sophomore Alex Novins (Wellesley, Mass./Wellesley) in No. 5 (6-3, 6-3).

Bentley improved to 2-0 on the season with the win. They will next be in action this weekend at the Merrimack Invitational.
