WALTHAM, Mass. – Connor Aulson (Groveland, Mass./Pentucket) of the Bentley University men's tennis team has claimed his third Northeast-10 Rookie of the Week Award of the 2017-18 season.

Bentley was only in action once last week at Merrimack on March 20, but Aulson was victorious in the No. 6 singles match, 6-3, 7-5 over his opponent Paul Weidinger.

That stretched his personal winning streak in singles to eight. He is now 10-3 in singles matches overall this season and 3-0 in NE10 singles matches.

Aulson and teammate Daniel Weitz (Roslyn, N.Y./Roslyn) have combined to collect five NE10 Rookie of the Week awards this season. Aulson earned two of the awards in the fall season, while Weitz has won it twice this spring on Feb. 27 and March 13.

Bentley is back in action on Wednesday against Saint Anselm for the first of two straight matches. They are also set to host Stonehill on Thursday.
