WALTHAM, Mass. – Bentley University sophomore Dylan Granat (Woodbury, N.Y./Syosset) has claimed the Northeast-10 Men's Tennis Player of the Week award after going a combined 5-0 during the Falcons' Florida spring break trip.

Granat went 3-0 in singles, with two wins in No. 3 singles and the other in the No. 2 slot. He had a 2-0 mark in doubles, with one win in the No. 1 slot and the other in No. 2.

Granat's victories in No. 3 singles came against Florida Tech (7-6, 1-6, 10-7) and USciences (6-4, 6-4), and his victory in No. 2 singles came against Saint Anselm (6-2, 6-0) in a NE10 match.

Doubles play on the spring break trip saw Granat team twice with senior Chase Rosa. The pair were winners in the No.1 match against Webber International (8-6) and in the No. 2 match against USciences (8-4).

The Falcons went a combined 3-1 on the trip, and have a 5-5 record as the NE10 season gets close to starting. The team will play a non-conference match against Roberts Wesleyan on March 25, before starting their conference slate in earnest on March 28 vs. Franklin Pierce.
