Three Tennis Players Earn NE-10 All-Academic Nods

WALTHAM, Mass. – Three Bentley University tennis players, two from the men's side and one from the women's, were named to the Northeast-10 Tennis All-Academic teams. Rising senior Rodrigo Riberio (Sao Paulo, Brazil/Chapel School) and Victor Suski (West Hartford, Conn./William Hall) made the men's team, and Kara Murphy (Worcester, Pa./Methacton) made the women's team.

Ribeiro is an All-Academic honoree for the second straight year. He's coming off a season where he went a team-best 17-7 in singles and was named second team All-Conference in third-flight singles, one of a conference-high seven Falcons to earn All-Conference honors. Ribeiro majors in finance and had a 3.30 GPA during the academic year

Suski is a recent graduate who majored in economics-finance and had a 3.52 GPA this year. During his career he helped Bentley reach the NCAA Tournament all four years and was a part of two NE-10 championship teams. He's an All-Academic selection for the second consecutive season after going 8-4 singles and 10-3 in doubles.

Murphy is also a recent graduate and was named the ITA's Women's Division II National Arthur Ashe Award winner, the second straight student-athlete from the program to take the award. A corporate finance and accounting major with a 3.83 undergraduate GPA for the year, she is named to her third straight All-Academic team. On the court Murphy went 8-8 singles overall and 8-4 in NE-10 play, all of which came in the second-flight.
