Florida Trip Comes to Close with 9-0 Defeat for Men’s Tennis

LAKELAND, Fla. – The Bentley men's tennis team wrapped up its spring break trip to Florida against No. 23 Florida Southern on Saturday, but the Falcons suffered a 9-0 defeat to the Moccasins at the Beerman Tennis Courts.

It's the third consecutive win for Florida Southern, who compete in the Sunshine State Conference. They improve to 7-8 on the season, while the Falcons drop to 7-4, but they have competed against teams ranked in the top-25 of Division II the last two days.

Bentley will look to get back in the win column on March 21 at Brandeis, before resuming Northeast-10 play at home against AIC on March 27.
