PHILADELPHIA, Pa. – Bentley's Rodrigo Ribeiro (Sao Paulo, Brazil/Chapel School) won the men's "B" singles tournament at the ITA East Regionals Monday with two wins on the final day of competition in Philadelphia.

The junior bested Petar Golijanin of Merrimack in the semifinals and knocked off Pedro Piexoto of NYIT 8-6 in the finals.

Ribeiro was the fifth seed in the tournament and had previously won three matches to reach the semis on the last day of the tournament.

Ribeiro and the rest of the Falcons will now gather as a team for their Northeast-10 opener against Assumption on Wednesday at home. The match is scheduled for 3:30 p.m.
