Three Bentley Tennis Players Earn All-Academic Honors

WALTHAM, Mass. – Rodrigo Ribeiro (Sao Paulo, Brazil/Chapel School) and Victor Suski (West Hartford, Conn./William Hall) of the men's tennis team, and Kara Murphy (Worcester, Pa./Methacton) of the women's tennis team have received All-Academic honors from the Northeast-10.

Ribeiro and Suski are two of just six players on the men's tennis All-Academic team. Ribeiro, a rising junior and finance major, was 30-17 overall this past season and 17-3 combined in the NE-10, earning him third team All-Conference honors in both singles and doubles.

Suski, a finance major and rising senior, was 17-17 overall and 9-3 in NE-10 play. He was named first team All-Conference in doubles.

The pair helped Bentley win its second straight NE-10 championship in April and advance to the NCAA Tournament for the third straight season.

Murphy is a rising senior and a corporate finance and accounting major. She was 19-17 overall this past season and 17-7 in the NE-10, including a nine singles wins in conference play, which tied for the team lead. It's the second straight time she's been named to the women's tennis All-Academic team.

Murphy and the Falcons finished 9-11 overall and 9-4 in the NE-10 for a fifth place finish.
