CSC Academic All-District Release

WALTHAM, Mass. – Eddy Erofeyev, Carter Ferrara and Leighton Wielgoszinski garnered Academic All-District team selection from the College Sports Communicators for men's swimming and diving.

Selected by the College Sports Communicators, the Academic All-District teams recognize the nation's top student-athletes for their combined performances in the pool and in the classroom.

Erofeyev is a junior, majoring in economics-finance and swims multiple events for the Falcons. He qualified for the finals in the 200 and 400 IM and the 200 back at the 2024 NE10 Championships.

This is his first time on the CSC Academic All-District team.

Ferrara won two bronze medals at the NE10s this year with the 200 and 400 free relay teams. He was named the NE10 men's Swimmer of the Week on Jan. 30.

A sophomore majoring in accounting, this is his first CSC Academic All-District honor.

Wielgoszinski is one of the NE10's top distance swimmers. He won silver in the 1000 free at the NE10s and helped the 800 free relay team take silver.

A sophomore economics-finance major, this is his first time on the CSC Academic All-District team.
