Men’s Soccer Set for Senior Night Game on Saturday vs. St. Michael’s

WALTHAM, Mass. – Bentley will host its Senior Night game on Saturday when they take on the St. Michael's Purple Knights. Kickoff is set for 6:00 PM on the football field.

Thank you seniors

The men's soccer program will honor seven seniors prior to Saturday's game. Matteo Bonati, Lukas Drahos, Joe Griffin, Caleb Martin, Gabriel Najim, Alex Wood and Christian Zarka.

Bentley has won its last two Senior Night games played on the football field. In 2021 they defeated Saint Rose 2-1 and in 2022 they knocked off Saint Anselm 2-1.

A split week

Bentley split its two matches last week. They defeated Assumption 1-0 at home in a non-conference game before they suffered a 4-0 defeat at No. 1 ranked Franklin Pierce in the first NE10 match of the season on Saturday.

Graduate student Evan Levine scored the winner against Assumption. The goal came in the 57th minute and was assisted by freshman Zach Spitznagle and Johann Fraser. The assist was Spitznagle's first career point for the freshman.

Series history

Saturday's game will be the 36th all-time meeting between the two teams, which Bentley leads 17-15-3. The Falcons have won four straight in the series going back to the 2018 season.
