Men’s Soccer Falls to No. 1 Franklin Pierce in NE10 Opener

RINDGE, N.H. – No. 1 ranked Franklin Pierce improved to 4-0 on the season with a 4-0 victory over the Bentley men's soccer team on Saturday night.

The Ravens, the defending Division II national champions, were ranked No. 1 for the second week in a row and have outscored their opponents 16-1 through four matches.

The Falcons, who were coming off a 1-0 victory over Assumption on Wednesday, fell to 2-3 on the season.

Franklin Pierce had four different players score. The goals came in the 12th, 18th, 46th and 81st minutes.

Bentley will be off until Saturday when they host Saint Michael's for its Senior Night game at 6:00 PM. The match will be played on the football field.
