WORCESTER, Mass. – Graduate student Ronan Fitzpatrick (Coventry, Conn./East Catholic) scored in the first half, but Bentley fell at Assumption 3-1 on Wednesday night in a non-conference match.

Assumption's Johannes Sundgot scored once in each half to lead the Greyhounds to the victory.

Sundgot put the home side on the board in the 4^th minute, with an assist by midfielder Ruben Faria.

Faria was involved again just over four minutes later when he combined with forward Gustaf Albert to set up a goal by Daniel Paulsson to make it 2-0.

Fitzpatrick cut the lead in half when the Falcons were awarded a penalty kick in the 35^th minute and he converted it from the spot to make it a 2-1 game.

It stayed that way until the 59^th minute, when Sundgot and Faria teamed up again for a goal to put Assumption up 3-1.

Bentley forced Assumption keeper George Dixon into six saves on the night. Senior Patrick McMahon (Kingston, Mass./Silver Lake) led the team with two shots on goal.

The Falcons will be back in action on Sunday when they host Holy Family on at 12:00 pm.
