WALTHAM, Mass. – For the second straight year, Bentley University men's soccer captain Weston Zeiner (North Granby, Conn./Granby Memorial) has been named to the Capital One CoSIDA Division II Academic All-District 1 Team.

The CoSIDA Academic All-District and All-America programs recongize the top-student athletes in their respective sports for their performances both academically and athletically. Zeiner is one of 11 student-athletes named to the Division II All-District 1 team in men's soccer. District 1 is comprised of schools in the Northeast-10, East Coast and Central Athletic conferences.

Zeiner, a center-back on the playing field, is an accountancy major with a 3.84 grade point average. Earlier this week he was named both the NE-10's Defensive Player of the Year, and first team All-Conference for the third consecutive season.

He will now advance to the Academic All-America Team ballot, which will be selected later this month. He was named a second team Academic All-America last year.
