MANCHESTER, N.H. - #12 nationally ranked Saint Anselm upended #11 ranked Bentley 17-8 on Saturday in the second game of the season between the two teams.
The Falcons won the first contest, a non-conference matchup, 13-11 back on March 1. But the Hawks won the NE10 game on their home turf.
Conor Segreti led the Bentley attack with a hat trick, while long stick midfielder Kyle Piersiak had three caused turnovers.
Leading 4-2 after the first quarter, the Hawks used two 3-0 runs in the second quarter to open up a 10-4 lead at halftime.
The third quarter was more defensive oriented with just three combined goals, but the hosts still led 12-5 going into the final 15 minutes.
The Falcons fall to 3-3 on the season and 1-2 in the NE10. Their next game is on Wednesday night at home against Pace.
