Bentley Alumnus Adler Helps Buffalo Bandits to National Lacrosse League Championship

WALTHAM, Mass. – 2017 Bentley men's lacrosse alumnus Max Adler and his Buffalo Bandits teammates won the 2023 National Lacrosse League championship on Saturday with a 13-4 victory over the Colorado Mammoth.

Adler scored a goal in the fourth quarter and had seven loose ball pickups as the Bandits won their 5th NLL championship in franchise history.

A faceoff specialist and defensemen for the Bandits, Adler won 55 percent of his faceoffs and had 41 loose ball pickups in six postseason games.

During the regular season he ranked sixth in the NLL in faceoff wins with 233.

Adler has played seven seasons of professional lacrosse after he graduated from Bentley in 2017. He started with the Denver Outlaws of Major League Lacrosse and helped them win the 2018 league championship. He was an MLL All-Star in 2019 and the Faceoff Specialist of the Year in 2020.

He then joined Chaos Lacrosse Club of the Premier Lacrosse League and helped them win the 2021 league championship in his first season.

One of the most accomplished players in the history of Bentley men's lacrosse, he was a two-time USILA All-America with third team honors in 2016 and second team honors in 2017.
