This Day in Bentley History - May 30, 2017: Adler Drafted by MLL's Denver Outlaws

On May 30, 2017 former Bentley men's lacrosse standout Max Adler was drafted by the Denver Outlaws of Major League Lacrosse.

Adler had an outstanding career at Bentley and was a dominant force in the face-off cirlce. He was twice named a USILA All-American, a second team selection as a senior in 2017 and a third team pick in 2016. He was a two-time, first team All-Northeast 10 honoree, in 2016 and 2017. Adler owned a 69.1 percent career face-off winning percentage (525-759), and he collected the second most ground balls in school history (301).

Adler's success has continued with the Outlaws in MLL. He was named to the 2019 MLL All-Star game, and finished that season leading the league in face-off winning percentage (58.3). He helped the Outlaws win the 2018 MLL championship, and he went 15-29 in the face-off cirlce in the title game win over Dallas.
