Bentley Men’s Lacrosse Seniors Named NE10 Team of the Week

The Northeast-10 Conference has recognized the Bentley University men's lacrosse senior class as one of its "Teams of the Week".

Throughout the remainder of the spring, the conference will be honoring the seniors from the spring sports with this recognition, as their season was unfortunately cut short.

The 2020 Falcons have nine seniors on the roster. Last season the group helped Bentley go 9-5 and qualify for the NE10 playoffs, and they were primed for big things in 2020 as well. The Falcons were nationally ranked by the USILA for most of the season before play was halted.

Said head coach Jim Murphy, "Our graduating leaders have been instrumental in creating a culture of hard work and success, on and off the field. It is most noticed in the academic success they have attained and how they show the underclass student-athletes how to focus and be leaders."

"Their leadership was challenged this past fall when teammate, friend and fellow leader Max Evensen passed away. The senior group stepped up in this time of loss to show leadership to the team, campus and the Evensen family and friends."

"This group will be greatly missed on the field and on campus, but we know their level of commitment will be seen through their teammates for years to come."

The men's lacrosse senior class is as follows:

#14 Matt Brooks: Midfielder; Brunswick, Maine

#24 Michael Fricke: Midfielder; Highlands Ranch, Colorado
