Bentley falls at nationally-ranked RIT, 3-0

ROCHESTER, N.Y. – The Bentley hockey team lost at the No. 19 Rochester Institute of Technology, 3-0, Friday night.

The Falcons didn't convert on any of their four power play opportunities that totaled 6:29. Bentley mustered three shots with the man-advantage during the game.

The Tigers took a 1-0 lead with six minutes left in the first period, and they added a power play goal with five minutes remaining in the second.

RIT tacked on an empty-net goal with a few seconds left in the game.

Overall, Bentley put 19 shots on goal, and a couple of attempts hit iron. A shot by A.J. Hodges early in the game hit the crossbar, and Ethan Leyh hit the post midway through the second period.

Connor Hasley made 27 saves between the pipes for Bentley, marking his fifth game this season with at least 25 saves.

The two teams meet again Saturday, Jan. 27, in Rochester. Game time is set for 4:05 p.m.
