Bentley Faces AIC and Quick Turnaround Tuesday Night

WALTHAM, Mass. – Just about 72 hours after completing its series against Holy Cross, the Bentley hockey team will be right back at it on Tuesday night when they visit AIC at the Mass Mutual Center in Springfield.

 

Falcons-Yellow Jackets Part III

This will be the third and final regular season meeting between the Falcons and Yellow Jackets. They played a home and home series on Nov. 2-3. AIC won the first game in Springfield 3-0 but Bentley rebounded with a 3-1 victory the following night at home.

In the win, Ethan Leyh had a power play goal and Nik Armstrong-Kingkade scored twice. Nicholas Grabko made 20 saves to earn the win.

 

Busy Week

Tuesday's game is just the start of a busy week for the Falcons. They play at UMass-Lowell on Friday at 4:00 PM and at Merrimack on Saturday at 4:00 PM

The Falcons rank second nationally in fewest goals allowed per game at 2.00. They've allowed two goals or less in five straight games. They've allowed more than two goals in just four of 12 games so far.

 

Grabko Ranks Highly

Senior goaltender Nicholas Grabko is 4th nationally in both save percentage and goals against average. His save percentage is at .934 and GAA at 1.68
