Bentley Places Conference High 26 Student-Athletes on Atlantic Hockey All-Academic Team; Harrison a Student-Athlete of the Year
WALTHAM, Mass. – Bentley University placed a conference-high 26 student-athletes on the 2022-23 Atlantic Hockey All-Academic team. Senior Ethan Harrison (Plano, Texas) was named a Student-Athlete of the Year for earning a 4.0 GPA for the academic year.
Harrison was one of 14 players in Atlantic Hockey to earn Student-Athlete of the Year recognition. An accounting major, he is a two-time All-America Scholar by the American Hockey Coaches Association.
Bentley's 26 student-athletes on the Atlantic Hockey All-Academic team tied for the most with Niagara and AIC. To qualify, the individual must have a 3.0 GPA or better in each semester during the year.
As a team, the Falcons had an impressive 3.51 GPA during the 2022-23 year.
Seniors Joe Winkelmann, Hunter Toale and Lucas Vanroboys each earned their fourth straight selection to the AHA All-Academic team.
